FALL 2017 WORKSHOPS

“Introduction to Knife Work”
Saturday, October 28, 2017, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Join us as we learn on-stage knife technique from Robb Hunter, a certified fight director with the Society of American Fight Directors. This three-hour workshop for beginner and experienced actors alike will help you understand how one of the smallest weapons on stage can be used in such a powerful, yet safe manner. This is a hands-on workshop, so please dress to move. The knife workshop fee is $50 and space is limited. To sign up,  email noble@nobleblades.org.

“Introduction to Theatrical Firearms”
Saturday, November 4, 2017, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Guns, especially handguns, are becoming more common in contemporary theatre. Yet few actors, technicians, producers or directors understand exactly what constitutes a stage-safe gun and how they should be handled on stage and backstage. Robb Hunter, a certified fight director with the Society of American Fight Directors, will cover these and other topics in a hands-on, three-hour workshop.
