All prospective members must first join the Reston Community Players (RCP) at $15 per year (which allows you to take part in other RCP activities and receive The Callboard, RCP's newsletter). Though not all members of the group are active instructor's/demonstrator's, those so inclined are required to enroll in stage combat classes, either through RCP or elsewhere, before working with the group.

The Noble Blades engage in numerous stage combat related activities throughout the year, including:
|
| |
Classes: The Noble Blades host three categories of classes: a beginner/brush up class usually held in the first quarter, periodic one-day master classes with guest instructors from the SAFD, and occasional SAFD skills proficiency tests (usually re-tests only). Click on the classes page for more info.
|
| |
Demos: Members of The Noble Blades put on stage combat demonstrations for theatrical, educational and civic organizations. The content and length of the demos are tailored to the unique requirements of each audience.
|
| |
Fight Choreography: The Noble Blades provide fight choreography to various area theatrical groups, mostly on the community and educational level. These services are most effective when integrated into the production at the earliest stages of the rehearsal process and can include reasonably priced weapon rentals.
|
| |
Workshops: The Noble Blades offer hands-on stage combat workshops to area community and educational theatrical organizations. Like the demos, the workshops are adapted for each audience.
